Pokemon Omega Ruby Citra crash and red text

Issue:
As soon as I start the rom in Citra the program stops and in the log appears red text indicating something is invalid (as shown in the screenshot attached). From then on no Pokemon Omega Ruby Rom works…

You need to grab your log right after your problem occurs. open citra and reproduce your problem, close citra, don’t open citra again at this point, open log folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Citra\log and upload your log.

I found some issues in that log that need resolving:

  • You have GDB debugging enabled. This will cause Citra not to start. This is only intended for debugging purposes and can be disabled in settings.
