Pokemon Omega Ruby - Screen goes black when accessing Bag

Issue:
Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail. Previously played Pokemon Omega Ruby fine with no issues. Recently I have had the game load as normal until I try to access my pokemon bag. Then the screen will black out completely. I can hear the audio still run in the background. If I try to play the game after the fact it will boot again with the black screen showing at all times. I have read some of the other fixes about updating graphics and playing without enabling the hardware sharer.
