Pokemon Question

#1

Hello there my name is Patrick, I have a question, I was just honestly wondering is it possible to say connect an actual 3ds to the citra emulator and battle in games like pokemon using the wireless functionality if u dont want to have 2 copies of the game later to play with a friend? im trying to plan something for later down the line and i was honestly just curious. Thank you to anyone who might be able to help.

Sincerely,
Patrick

No, it is not currently (or maybe ever?) possible to connect an actual Nintendo 3DS to Citra. However, you can create a new folder anywhere on your computer that has the same contents as the current folder with citra-qt.exe and if you create a new folder in that folder named user you can open two separate instances of citra in order to play with someone else.
