I have run into the same issue upon entering the mansion in Po Town.
(Pokemon Sun using Nightly 575)
Will the same workaround help here?

Moved to a new topic. Nightly 575 fixed the Pokemon League issue. Please edit your post so that it fills out the support template.
Issue:
Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail.
System Information
Log:
Paste your entire console window log here.
In order to save a copy of the log, follow this guide: How to Upload the Log File
I can’t post the entire log as it pushes past the character limit. It is also too large for pastebin.
The smallest I can get the log file to is 4.05MB.
The bulk of the log is: HW.Memory core/memory.cpp:Read:154: unmapped Read32 @ 0x000XXXXX
Repeated over and over with the X’s growing both numerically and alphabetically.
You issue is vague. I still don’t know exactly what it is about. Does it crash or freeze? Which is why I ask you to fill out the support template. As for the log, save as close to the point in the game that has the issue and restart Citra and get the log. The log shouldn’t be too big and if it is, upload it to a file hosting site.
Issue:
In the game upon entering the mansion in Po Town the transition freezes before the entire screen turns black, the framerate drops to zero.
Attempting to stop the emulation or close Citra itself causes Citra to become unresponsive.

Can you post a save file that’s as close to this point as possible? Right click on the game in the game list and select Open Save Data Location.
Used Citra Nightly | HEAD-1a2f29a and didn’t get the freeze. Could be a bad ROM dump. Try redumping your game.
That fixed it. Thank you.
