Pokemon ultra moon crashes when i try to start new game

So i wanted to redo pokemon ultra moon in a way so I wanted to restart. i saw the way to restart was to delete your save data like the other games. i know this works bc I did the same on other games and it worked perfectly. so I decided to do it. pressed the the combination of buttons press yes to delete the save data and then as soon as I did… it just froze. i waited for a couple of minutes and it just stayed frozen. so after I waited some more nothing happened so I closed it and reopened it just to find it saying “save data is corrupted” so i was shocked but i can still delete the save data so i tried restarting again… did the same things but nothing different happened, it just frozen. Again. so i tried it on citra canary and it was the same results and the save file was still corrupted.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.
