It didn’t happen earlier in the game, and this is now post-game. I’m unsure if it’s either from the cheats I used (though I’ve disabled all of them and it still didnt work)
I had a cheat to play with legendaries in Battle Royale but it didnt work since it froze right at the ‘checking team’ part. I tried putting in legal pokemon (so not legendaries) but it still froze. (I mean, it would at least tell me my pokemon aren’t allowed…but it doesn’t.) I’m unsure what it could’ve caused this, maybe aside from the cheats having modified something in-game permanently. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. Music is still playing, though nothing happens when I press buttons.

Okay, upon trying this on another Citra on Ultra Sun, I discovered it’s not the 'Legendaries allowed in Battle Royale" cheat, but the code bellow:
[Same pokemon species at Battle Royal Dome & Battle Tree(Super) v1.2]
i’m unsure WHAT this breaks internally. I have not tried to see if the Battle Tree freezes as well.
Disabling the cheat itself doesn’t fix it.
Saving with cheats on will cause unintended side effects; I’ve experience this on multiple emulators with different games. I haven’t heard of anyone else having issues and you are the only one I know to use cheats.
Hm, I see. Thanks for letting me know. So what I gather is, if I want to avoid this in the future, I should disable/uncheck the cheat before I save?
For stability in most games, yes you should.
