Issue:
I start the game, everything is working alright, then the game gets to the call from the Professor Kukui and the games freezes at that animation, controls don’t register and if I click on the menu, the app has frozen completely.

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:
- Open Citra, then go to
File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
- Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
- Now upload the log file in this chat.

We can’t. This is most likely an issue with MoltenVK, so we need to wait for the developer to be available to work on these bugs.
Are you in contact with the developer or is there another way to find out if they have fixed it?
I’m in contact with the developer, though you should update to the latest Canary build and try again. If the issue persists, upload a new log file.
