Pokemon Ultra Sun freezes mid game at same scene

I have been playing Pokemon Ultra Sun with no problems for the last 2-3 weeks. I arrived at the Wela Volcano Park and as soon as I start to battle Marowak the whole screen freezes. I have tried several times and 2 or 3 times I was able to get past the first battle but encountered the same issue starting the second one(Magmar).
I haven’t been able to find any other post with this problem.

try with v-sync disabled and framelimit to 100%. if that fails download and install the latest driver available for your GPU from the manufacture’s (intel) website.

I have the exact same issue. Graphics freeze while battling or displaying anything related to magmar. I can reproduce it over and over.
Specs:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 1803 64 bits
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6300U 2.40GHz 2.50GHz 16.0GB RAM
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520 (Driver 25.20.100.6472 release date 12/10/2018)
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1177
  • Game: Pokemon Ultra Moon

There is no v-sync option anymore. How can I change it?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended for accurate emulation.

Disable ‘Enable Hardware Shader’ before launching the game.

I am having the same issue. have tried several times and still have the same issue. I haven’t bin playing the game for long and just started on citra a few weeks ago

I have the exact same problem. Whenever I start the Wela Volcano trial to battle the Marowak, the whole screen freezes. I had tried the same several times. I’m unable to get past the Trial. I have also attached the Log File of the error.

As other posts before this have indicated, please disable hardware shaders before startng the game, and see if that resolves your problem.

I have tried the same but I’m unable to reslove the issue

Run citra, launch your game, reproduce the issue and when citra freezes close citra and don’t open it again, open the folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Citra\log and upload your log again.

Which graphic options should I enable/disable to clear the Level ?

However, the game still freezes midway.
