Pokemon Ultra Sun: Game lagged and then crash

Helping out a friend. Just want to play Pokemon Ultra Sun using Citra for the first time and it crashes just a few minutes of entering the game. Help!

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

GPU Driver Version: Build

This driver is outdated, they need to update.

Sorry, my friend updated it but maybe not the one you gave… but after updated, it doesn’t crash anymore though the speed is slow.

Your friend should utilize the computer’s ability to take screenshots :stuck_out_tongue: since I can’t see what scene that is etc. with a screenshot that takes the whole window I would be able to see that.

The log is incomplete, looks like they accidentally reopened Citra so the log got cleared.

Hm, the log is still like before they tried to start any games(as if they only started Citra and nothing else).

Now, Intel HD 4000 is a very old GPU at this point and there was a change some time ago that split presentation thread which this GPU doesn’t like due to a bug in the driver and only Intel that can fix that however, Intel is mostly focusing on 10th gen at this point unfortunately.

Test these two builds and see if that is the case:
