Could you elaborate a bit more? Did you delete the save file? Or did the game do so? Was there any error message you ran into? Some more info like that can help us to understand your issue better.

I deleted it and replaced it by another save file a long time ago

Unless you manually backed up the save file when you replaced it, it’s gone. No way to recover it.
