Is there a direct link?

Which one would that be?

It only occurs during save states

Then that’s your issue. Save states aren’t meant as replacements for in-game save files. They’re only meant to be used within single gaming sessions. Beyond them, they become more and more unstable the longer you use them.

I don’t know if it can still be answered in this thread, and if I also have this problem without the use of save states

Then please open up your own support topic for your issue.
