Pokemon X black screen with sound

Issue:
I was starting a new game of pokemon X and everything was great until the main screen, when the professor was going to appear with the introduction, the screen went black and I could hear it perfectly but I couldn’t see anything. (I want to clarify that I have already played the game before and I had the same problem, but I managed to solve it, unfortunately I do not remember how I did it)

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

You need to launch the game, and stop it when it gets to the error to get the full log. Citra bot can then identify the problem

when it gets to the black screen do i close the game?

Yes, then upload the log file. If you are unsure how, this citra link will explain how

Ok so for some reason I did the required steps to open the log file and now the game is running properly
