Pokemon X crashes after Pokemon Amie minigame

Issue:
Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail.

System Information

My Pokémon X always crashes after some Pokémon Amie minigame, the fatal error message appears. I already tried to see the tutorial to change the Emulator Log files and still it doesn’t work. I can’t play with my Eevee to evolve it into a Sylveon because of that.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Hm, can you upload your save file? Right click on the game then Open Save Data Location then upload the file(I think it is called main) to like Google Drive and link it here. Also give steps how to reproduce the issue.

Change permissions to public in your Google Drive so I can download it

it’s changed

Ok I need you to tell me what I need to do to get the crash.

You need to play any Pokémon Amie minigame, at the end of the minigames, when you click in “back”, Citra shows the Fatal Error message.

Thanks, will try that. Your previous log didn’t mention about the fatal crash, could you try upload another one?

Yeah it works fine for me, probably is corrupted as the bot said. Follow our guides to redump it and make sure you have at least 2GB free space on your SD card:

Uh… I don’t have a 3DS. Could you send your log files to me to see if it works on my Citra and the game stops showing a fatal error message?

Well here is my log. I did the berry picker minigame then quit. I used Pokémon Y though but both games are compatible with the same save file.

“I don’t have a 3DS” ok then I will assume you have a friend who does and you own Pokémon X on a cartridge that they dumped for you. But if you did the other thing…yeah that would be illegal.

I tried to use your log file, tried to download a CIA update for the rom, tried to ask my friend to redo the rom from his 3DS, but it still goes wrong, maybe it’s a problem on my pc, which is slightly weak, or in the version outdated citra.

Remember that the only legal place to download games, updates etc. is from the Nintendo eShop on your own Nintendo 3DS. Your friend should read my post https://community.citra-emu.org/t/pokemon-x-crashes-after-pokemon-amie-minigame/219252/13 carefully so they don’t corrupt the dump of your copy of the game.
