Pokemon X Frozen upon accidentally touching "Connect to Internet"

Issue:
New Citra user here. I’ve been a few days in playing Pokemon X and accidentally hit the connect to internet button on the touchscreen. It is now stuck on the dialog box that says “Connecting to Internet…” with a spinning wheel. I don’t have any other save states. Is there a way to get out of this without losing game progress?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

citra cannot connect to the internet and access the nitendo’s server you can only play local multiplayer by the citra rooms…
also disable the cheats for better emulation…
and Please try this also:
1. Open Citra then go to File->Open Citra Folder
2. Open shaders folder then delete the OpenGL folder if it is there.
3. Go to Emulation->Configure and then click on Graphics on the left.
4. Click on the Advanced tab and turn on Accurate Multiplication.
The Disk Shader Cache currently has a bug when Accurate Multiplication is turned off causing it to load all shaders slowly from zero every time you start the game and makes the precompiled cache extremely large and also the RAM usage skyrockets until you crash.

Thanks. I am stuck on this screen though as I think I saved over my only save state at this point. I can’t load to anything before this screen. Is there anything I can do or do I have to start over the game

go to emulation and restart to play from the last in-game save…

thank you! it went to the opening scrawl and i thought it was just starting the game over but it ended up putting me where I was (I think because the game forces you to “save” in the game before connecting to the internet)

i mistakenly clicked on wifi it is showing connecting to the internet please wait a moment
