Pokemon x in game save cause save/load states tend to crash or show black screen

Issue:
Android- While playing pokemon x , i saved states in slot 2
, when just for checking i tend to come back ,and load states in slot it suddenly closed the app . I tried once again it again send me to home screen . I dont have any cheats or smth. And i researched and came to know that Save states couldnt be depended upon . So how do I in game save pokemon x.
