Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Do you have discrete graphics? iirc, 5800H usually come in gaming laptops.

You can check under Display adapters in Device Manager. I want to know before suggesting updating the drivers for your integrated graphics.

No I don’t have discrete graphics and all my drivers are up to date and my laptop is not a gaming laptop

Latest driver is 22.8.2: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-mobile-processors-radeon-graphics/amd-ryzen-7-5800h

21.30.26 30.0.13026.3 is from 2021.

just updated my drivers and it still crashes

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

You installed 22.5.1 instead of 22.8.2

22.8.2 is not available for my computer

I gave you a link that has it for both Windows 10 and 11.

I downloaded the installer for 22.8.2 but it cannot be run on my computer, it comes up with a message saying it can’t

Can you take a screenshot of the message?

I just redownloaded the driver and the game is now working though there is quite frequent lag spikes and render issues

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Seems like your shader cache wasn’t cleared with the new driver. Let’s manually clear that:
Go to File>Open Citra Folder, and open up the shaders folder. Then delete the opengl folder found here. See if the issue remains.

just tried that and there is a little less lag and the graphics are a little worse but I guess its playable but thanks anyways both of you for helping
