Pokemon X Screen Freeze

Hey Guys!

Sorry if this is a frequently asked question, but I looked around and didn’t see any posts regarding my problem. So I just started playing Pokemon X using citra, and it runs great, however, every 30-40 minutes or so, the game screen freezes. Just the screen, nothing else. The game continues, but the screen is frozen. The usual way I get out of this situation, is that I save my game (I press X, then down 3 times, then A), and restart the emulation. My question: is there a way to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Yes, but only going through the Mega evolution animation game slows down for Few seconds, but then its higher than 30fps. But sometimes the game is freezes after 30 to 40 minutes. Is it because of resolution I have set the resolution to auto window size.
