Pokemon X screen going black before I start/when opening a battle

Issue:
Blank screen almost immediately after opening Pokemon X or sometimes I’ll be able to load in but it goes black immediately after beginning a battle.

I believe drivers etc are up to date and I’ve tried a few generic solutions.
