Pokemon X/Y - Black flicker over sprites during cutscenes

Black flicker over sprites in the first cutscene. (Shown in Sycamore’s sprite)

When I first booted up the game, everything was fine, correct audio and full 30 FPS. Once I got to the beginning Sycamore scene, I noticed there were weird black patches flickering all over the professor’s sprite. It also happened with the trainer’s sprite, but nothing in the name selection was off at all. What was odd was that the final render of Sycamore had no glitches, and the subsequent cutscene with the Flechlings had no issues either.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
