Issue:
I’ve tried all the drivers, old and new - up-to-date and ones linked in previous threads; enabled, disabled settings - please tell me if there’s something I’ve missed. I just cannot get this issue fixed.

does this only happen with pokemon games? Also what is your GPU? Depending on which graphics card you use for the game, you’ll have to update the specific drivers of said graphics card. I’ve faced this issue before and the problem was with the drivers. And a lot of people seem to have the problem of outdated drivers.
I only have pokemon games so I’m unable to confirm others - but it’s exactly the same issue across the board. In terms of graphics, it’s an integrated Iris Xe Graphics - no discrete GPU. I’ve downloaded the latest generic drivers from Intel, and also tried ones recommended from recent posts
This worked! Thank you. I was pulling my hair out all day over this. I knew it worked previously on this laptop - couldn’t figure out why it no longer did.
