Pokemon Y and Moon Running Extremely Slow

Issue:
I have recently downloaded Citra on my MacBook to play pokemon games (specifically Y and Moon). But once playing them I have seen my frames have been hovering around the 15 fps mark. I played around with all the settings to see what would work to no avail. I downloaded Canary and Nightly to see if it was the build and have seen no change. Is there anything I can do to play these games at a smooth 30 frames? Thank you so much!

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

The log gets cleared every time you open Citra, you must have accidentally reopen Citra before uploading the log.

i5-8210Y is only a 7W chip so it probably just doesn’t have the horsepower to run 3DS games well unfortunately.

Ahh that’s helps extremely. Thank you so much!
