Pokemon Y suddenly crashing

Issue:
I’d played Pokemon Y with no problems up to Route 10. Saved it, didn’t play for a few days, then when I came back to it today, and after Citra updated, it started crashing whenever I’d use my USB Xbox One controller’s control stick or if I talked to anyone.

Does this issue also occur without the use of save states? (load your in-game save file and try again)

Turns out, no, it doesn’t. I used the in-game save/load (not savestates) and I was able to walk around with the control stick and talk to people without any crashes.

That said, since it had been a few days since I opened Citra, there was an update that I went ahead and installed, so maybe that fixed it? After the update, even using savestates works without crashing (so far).

So, thanks for the help!
