I was wondering if it would be possible to add the capability of separating the bottom screen into its own window. I like to record the top screen in full screen since in many games, especially the Zelda games, most of the important information is on the top screen. It’s quite annoying to have to switch screens or use the large screen layout to access the inventory in a game. I don’t know how possible or difficult it would be to add a feature like this, but it sure would be a nice quality of life addition. I just wanted to throw the suggestion out there in case it hadn’t been considered before. Thanks for all your hard work on this emulator, love the gradual improvements over time and I’m quite happy with the recent addition of the shader cache functionality. Keep up the great work!
It seems to me that there was a video where they use the phone to be the lower screen of the citra.
You can use phone as bottom screen tutorial as a base … assuming you are talking about 2 monitors just edit that .ini file to match the resolution of your screens. Important thing is NOT to go full screen… just make the Citra window as wide/tall fo fit both screens
Now it’s possible, thanks to Add "Separate Windows" LayoutOption by ameerj · Pull Request #6177 · citra-emu/citra · GitHub.
