Problems with games in Yuzu

For some reason I can’t boot up my games when Single Screen Mode is off.
If I enable it, the game loads for a bit and starts working, but I can’t see that other screen.
If I disable it again, the game only shows on a black screen.

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by Citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File.

Now for some reason the emulator freezes my entire Laptop if Disk Shader Cache is on.
And if i check the Log, it’s full of things like these:
[ 80.974679] HW.Memory core\memory.cpp:Read:541: Unmapped Read32 @ 0x228800000C
(for some reason there is like 540K of these)

Thank you for posting! Please confirm if this is for yuzu help or Citra

I put it as Yuzu Support when i posted this, so yes it is for Yuzu.

Thank you for your clarification! Please upload your entire log here. Please don’t copy the contents, upload the file, thanks!

But it’s really long, and it will not fit.

Please compress the file if it’s too big!

Please make sure that you’re uploading the log file directly. If you don’t know how, please follow the instructions provided by the bot. Even though the bot is referring to Citra, the same instructions apply to yuzu

If the log file is too large to upload (you get an error when uploading), then please do as Eloeri says and compress the log file before uploading.

yeah but how tf do i compress files

can i upload the log in a reply or do i have to upload it from a file?

With either WinRAR or 7-Zip. Right click the file, and you will have a menu of whichever of those two programs you have installed, one option is to compress it.

I’m not sure what the maximum upload limit is for our forum. If you’ve already tried uploading the log file directly and encountered an error, then please do as Golden says and compress the log file.

log… i guess

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

Seems like I’m back to square one.
But now I suposse i know why it happens.
here’s one of the things i found on the log:
[ 133.526508] Render.OpenGL video_core\renderer_opengl\renderer_opengl.cpp:DebugHandler:188: API ERROR 1282: Error has been generated. GL error GL_INVALID_OPERATION in (null): (ID: 173538523) Generic error
This is probably one of the reasons why nothing shows up on the game.
But I’d love to know what this means-

Your Intel GPU driver is ancient, get the latest one.

so do i update it or replace it?

Get the latest one from intel.com, if it fails to install, follow this: https://youtu.be/BZG50Nm5sOM?t=72
I won’t expect good performance from that CPU, it’s too small.

If i use the IDSA, it says i dont have anything to update
And if i try to install an update from an exe, i get the driver being installed is not validated for this computer.
which version is appropriate for the hd graphics 500?
