Project x Zone 1 xBRZ bug

Issue:
Playing Project x Zone 1 with xBRZ ON somehow messes with dialog boxes and makes little squares appear out of nowhere. Turning ON other filters also messes graphics (turning them off makes the game look fine)
I would like to know if there is a way to fix this (it has been like this since ~2020)

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from NVIDIA’s website. Official Drivers | NVIDIA
  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.
  • You have mods installed. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

This isn’t really something we can fix. Different games render things differently. That’s just how that game displays stuff with that filter enabled.

I found a workaround: you will have to extract speech bubble’s texture and upscale it(with gimp if you want, no need for an AI), i play at 3x Int. resolution and upscaled that texture to x4. After that, use that custom texture and boxes should disappear
