Random fps drops / random freezing

random fps drops / random freezing:
when playing the game it randomly freezes after 10 or 20 seconds it goes back to normal
and the more i play the game the more it freezes i am using an HD custom texture,
post-processing texture: FXAA_natural
texture filter: Xbrz Freescale

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

the game had fps drops more often when I am using CPU clock percentage to 100%

Emulation becomes unstable when it is not set to 100%, it is most likely the reason why.

i set it to 100% but it still freezes

Does it stop freezing if you uncheck Use Custom Textures and turning off any post-processing filters?

Are you loading from a save state? If yes, just save in-game normally and then restart the game and load your save normally. Save states are not a replacement for regular saves.

If it still freezes even if you load your save normally then perhaps the rom or game update isn’t clean. Redump them by following the guides below. Have at least 4GB free space on your Nintendo 3DS’s SD card since the game is big:
