Real life sound distortions after playing games with sound lag?

Hey guys. I’ve been playing Fire Emblem Awakening for the past two days. It runs really well apart from some FPS lag when the game gets graphically intensive, which happens pretty often. This hardly effects gameplay, but it does make some of the audio very strange… like it’s playing in slow motion. I’ve found that after playing with this weird, echoy, sounds lag certain noises in real life will have the same effect. For instance if a rustle a piece of plastic, it will sound like there are a lot of short, frequent echos that follow.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

If you don’t get full speed emulation, the sound will be slowed down accordingly.

The current implementation makes the audio core run in sync with the framerate.
