Reinstall without loss of data

Issue:
I would like to reinstall Citra because my games don’t run anymore and I wanted to know if my data will be kept.

I’m assuming you’re on Windows (This is why we would like users to fill in the template information anyways, regardless of their questions).

Citra stores the save data in C:\Users\*insert your username*\AppData\Roaming\Citra
Citra stores it’s program data in C:\Users\*insert your username*\AppData\Local\Citra

if you want to uninstall Citra, you’ll want to delete the program data folder. You can get there easily by pressing the Windows Key + R and typing %localappdata%\citra into the run box:

Alternatively, you can use launch the maintenance tool in the program data folder and delete Citra that way:

The installer will also not touch the save data folder.
