Room disconects while trying to battle or trade online

and yes i can battle and trade with myself with two citra setup but can’t battle online with other player

It’s unclear from your words whether you are trying to connect to Nintendo’s servers to trade with other people or not, but in case you are → That’s most definitely not possible. Citra only supports local multiplayer connections using our multiplayer rooms.

If you meant the local multiplayer features, make sure that your game’s update version is the same as the person you’re trying to connect to (or the latest update available if you’re unsure) and that you have a stable internet connection. Cheats are also something that can break multiplayer so watch out with those.
