Runtime error R6025 - pure virtuaI function call

Issue:
Whenever I play games after a short while this error comes up and crashes. I do not understand why it started, but I cant seem to fix it no matter what. I am on the latest drivers, I have every Visual C++ version. I do not know what is wrong.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 8.1
  • CPU: Intel Celeron 2957u
  • GPU: Intel HD graphics
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Nightly 1898

Windows 8.1 is no longer supported on the latest Citra Nightly and Canary builds. This error is one of the reasons why we dropped support, alongside updating to the latest version of qt. This error usually means you have to update to Windows 10 or newer to fix it, we don’t know why.

Ah i see then, thanks. I don’t mind it enough to update to windows 10, but at least I know why it happens now
