Save States don't work no matter what I do

Issue: std::bad_alloc shows up whenever I try to use a save state. I had cleared all my save states intentionally just to make some room on my laptop, and after that attempting to perform save states showed that error message. I have even tried to download older versions of both Canary and Nightly and no cigar.

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

Save using your in-game save file, then load that save file. Now try saving a save state again.
