Saves are not working after moving them to another folder and then putting them in the same place they were before

Issue: Saves are not working after moving them to another folder and then putting them in the same place they were before

I was wanting to replay the same game again, but I didn’t want to lose the previous save so I put all the saves in another folder (because I didn’t know which was the save of the game I wanted to play again) soon after I gave up of the idea and I put where the saves were the problem is that when I went to play one of the games it started again and it was in the language selection

System Information

  • Operating System: Android 12, XOS 10.6
  • CPU: Octa-core (2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
  • GPU: Mali-G57 MC2
  • Citra Version : Beta 15(Android)

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

You say “saves”, but what folder did you actually end up moving somewhere else.

Well, I went to Nintendo 3DS/00000000000000000000000000/title and moved everything under title to an empty folder

And you’re sure that you put those back in the correct folder?

If you were not asked to overwrite anything, It’s unlikely that you returned it to the correct folder.

Worse than yes, it was in the correct location and folders that I put the saves and I don’t remember deleting or overwriting anything

If you didn’t need to overwrite anything, then either you’ve deleted the previous files that were there before you placed the old files back, or you didn’t place the old files in the correct location.

If the location was correct, and you didn’t need to overwrite anything, and the old save files aren’t showing up, then something went wrong when you originally copied the save data.

In any case, I’m not sure what else to do in this situation. Sounds like your save data is gone.
