Senran Kagura Burst Cutscene Freeze

Senran Kagura Burst hangs during an unskippable cutscene on level 5-6 of Crimson Girls, rendering the game unbeatable. Should I create an issue for this on github?

Please confirm whether this issue also occurs without the use of save states.

Yep. Same thing happened to me, no save states used. It’s not the only cutscene where the game hangs, as the cutscenes that occur when you use a super move hangs but those cutscenes can be skipped, whereas the one OP is talking about can’t, rendering not only the game unbeatable but also locks you out from half of the characters (as you need to finish the last couple of levels).

Could you upload a log file after encountering the issue?

This driver is out of date. Please update it to the latest available for your card: GeForce Game Ready Driver | 522.25 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIA

Additionally, you should clear your shader cache: Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then open up the shaders folder. Delete the opengl folder found here. now try your game again.

If the same issue still occurs, upload a new log file.

Oh, forgot to say, make sure to clear the shader cache again, then test out the older Citra build.

Bug still occurs. I think it’s been here for a while. There’s someone who encountered the same issue 2 years ago on build 1644 https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/issues/5614

I had the game freeze in the same spot. I tried an old version of Citra Nightly 1392 and it didn’t freeze. Use version 1392 finish the mission save and load the game in a newer Citra version.

Do you mind uploading a save file? Can link to like Google Drive or something, just make sure it has public access.
