Smash 3DS - I have a problem with Mario

Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail.
So I’m trying to play Smash on 3DS, the menus are fine and all, and every character is perfectly playable. Everyone except Mario, that is. For some reason, when I pick myself as Mario or the CPU as Mario, the game just kinda freezes on the loading screen. Like I said, this doesn’t happen with every other character in the cast.

(BTW, I have Smash updated to the most up to date version (1.1.7) and the DLCs as well.

Basically I hope you make Mario at least playable in the next Citra update :stuck_out_tongue:

I found some issues in that log that need resolving:

  • Citra is currently utilizing open-source system files which may cause emulation to be less accurate, but not affect system stability.

jeez didn’t know nobody cared about my problem >:(

that’s not very helpful. also you are using an outdated driver version for your GPU, download and install the latest driver for your GPU from the manufacturers (intel, in your case) website.

also try with citra nightly and with ‘Enable Hardware Shader’ disabled.

Same problem here, game freezes on the loading screen only with Mario pick. Smash 1.1.7 DLC

what do you mean as an attachemennt file

also i have a problem with ssb 1.1.7 once i downloaded it the game started freezin at start

Upload a log please: How to Upload the Log File

This is happening with me as well, except it’s Mario and Shulk.
If you play it without the 1.1.7 update, it works just fine, but it means you can’t use the DLC with it.
(Citra please fix!!)

This is usually because of a poorly dumped DLC. Remove the DLC you have installed and redump them using our guide: To dump DLC and Updates, use this guide Dumping Updates and DLCs - Citra and install the results through File → Install CIA…

Make sure your GM9 is updated to the latest version available and that you have enough free storage space available on your SD-Card to perform the dump.
