Issue: Citra keeps on crashing
I tried to add some cheats on my citra then suddenly my citra nightly keeps on crashing (Speed: 0% / 100% | Game: 0 FPS | Frame: nan ms at the bottom.) everytime there’s a pokemon battle that took place. Im playing pokemon ultra sun btw. I tried changing my citra from canary to nightly and it still doesn’t work.

Most likely the cheats you are trying to use are not compatible, make sure they match your version of the game, e.g v1.2.

Does it still work if you turn off all cheats then restart Citra?

no it doesn’t, the version im using is 1.0 and the cheats that i use is also 1.0, i did turn off all cheats then restart citra but it doesn’t work.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

it works thank you so muchhhh

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

citra_log.txt (4.0 KB)

[   0.009351] Config <Info> core/settings.cpp:operator():75: Core_CPUClockPercentage: 400

Messing with the CPU Clock Speed makes the emulation unstable and will result in freezing.
Set this back to 100%.

Furthermore, you should disable Dump Textures in Emulation>Configuration>Graphics → This option is only useful for those that are interested in creating their own custom textures.
You may also want to delete all the textures it’s dumped so far: Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then open up the dump folder and delete the textures folder found here (this will delete all dumped textures for all of your games).
