Strange Journey Redux texture pack issue

Hey all, I’m trying to use the HD texture pack for Strange Journey Redux, but I’m getting some weird issue with the textures. When I shift rooms or during in-game talking scenes the background will show a completely different background layered under the correct one. I’ll attach a photo to show this off.

This issue corrects itself if I load a save state up, but once I change rooms it goes back to the same issue

Thanks for any and all help, I appreciate it!

  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

Go to Emulation>Configuration>System and set the CPU Clock Speed back to 100%. Now go to Emulation>Configuration>Graphics>Advanced Tab and enable V-Sync (whilst I don’t believe this being off is causing the issue, it might be contributing).

Lastly, I can see that you’re using Save States. Save state don’t just save your game’s state, they save the entirety of Citra’s state. Which means that installing a texture pack and then loading a save state that, at the time of saving, didn’t have that texture pack installed yet, will result in strange graphical bugs like this. So to rule out save state contributing to the problem, make sure to not use them and load your game normally. If the problem remains, please upload another log file.
