When I start Super Mario 3D Land and choose a Guest Mii at the file select screen, the game softlocks.
My citra version:
Citra Nightly HEAD-3bf924c
My CPU:
Intel Core i5-3570 @ 3.40GHz
My Grahpics Card:
Intel HD Graphics K202HQL
How to reproduce:
1.) Start the game.
2.) When the game asks to activate Street Pass, press B.
3.) Select a save file.
4.) Game will say no suitable Mii found to use.
5.) Game will give a bunch of template “Guest” Miis to use
6.) Choose a Mii.
7.) Game softlocks

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.
Closing applets is unimplemented, so either delete the applet from C:\Users\Comp\AppData\Roaming/Citra/sdmc/Nintendo 3DS/00000000000000000000000000000000/00000000000000000000000000000000/title/0004003e/0000c902/ (the entire folder) or run the game in a different region by setting it in Emulation - Configure.
It worked.
So, you are saying by me installing the frimware CIAs, it screwed up the emulator a bit?
It did do that. For now, until closing applets is implemented, don’t install them.
