Tar.gz file problem

I download the latest citra build using manual download and when I finished the download, tar.gz file is found. I don’t know what to do with this file. Anyone knows about this and how to install it? Thanks.

I am assuming you are on Windows (let me know if not),

.tar.gz is an archive format similar to .zip or .rar.
Use an archiver software like 7zip to extract files from it.

  • Extract tar.gz contents to a folder.
  • open folder and click on citra-qt.exe

I use windows 10 home language. Is there a software available to extract it?

i linked it above : 7zip

Thank you

Users are recommended to use the installer to download Citra. That way you will be notified of updates.
