Your intuition is correct. Yuzu is of course very CPU heavy and your CPU doesn’t have the capability to do what you seek.
. What CPU could you recommend then ?
Anything current-gen with 8 cores is going to be the minimum to run the game competently, which of course costs as much as a Nintendo Switch and then some when combined with new RAM and a motherboard.
My suggestion is to build for the future and outright ignore laptops. Save up, work extra hours, or get a job. Your TotK dreams can come true with hard work! Unfortunately, there’s no talking around that truth. Best of luck to you.
