Textures trimmed in some River City games

Issue:
Textures of characters get trimmed in half when a character faces left. It happens in a number of River City (Nekketsu) games for 3ds: River City: Tokyo Rumble, Nekketsu Kouha Kuniokun Special, Riki Densetsu. Some textures get trimmed in River City: Rival Showdown in a similar way as well - but not character textures.

These games worked correctly on older builds. Proof:


Unfortunately, I cannot tell when exactly the problem appeared as I did not update the emulator as frequently before. The version the games ran correctly in my case was 0.1.463 (Bleeding Edge) dated 2017 - that one could still automatically update itself.

This is a known issue.

January 2018. The inital issue is a year old already. And this bug looks like some trivial matter. Seems that it is not. :frowning:

Was wanting to play River City Tokyo and this bug really takes the joy out of the game, has a fix still not been found? I tried using older versions listed at https://citra-emu.org/game/river-city-tokyo-rumble/ as great or perfect with this game and turning off hardware shaders (as someone suggested on the game page) but nothing seems to work. If nothing else does anyone know of an old build that works correctly with it?
