Tomodachi Life crashes when clicking on text box

Issue:
Tomodachi Life crashes after clicking on a text box. I can click on one(1) or two(2) text boxes without crashes, but after that, it crashes.
It is a big issue as it prevents me from filling out Mii information, and thus starting the gameplay loop.

System Information

  • CPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
  • GPU: Intel i7-7700HQ

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

It looks like you accidentally reopened Citra before uploading the log. The log gets cleared every time you open Citra. Have the log folder open in the background first and then reproduce the issue and close Citra, upload the new log immediately afterwards.

Please note: I disabled Hardware Renderer/Shader, Hadware Miulitplication & Shader JIT for testing. It still happens with everything enabled.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

HW.AES <Error> core/hw/aes/ccm.cpp:EncryptSignCCM:48: Key slot 49 not available. Will use zero key.

Maybe you need to redump the game:

Fixed.
I previously installed System Apps I installed via .cia, which installed the actual 3DS Keyboard. This was being used by the game instead of Citra’s popup input box.
I’m guessing it must not be supported completely yet.

Clean install (deleting both the install folder & AppData/Local folder) & re-installing Citra (as well as Mii data) worked like a charm.
