Tomodachi life failed to start

im starting tomodachi life, and it has a black screen and its giving me an error

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): nightly 1708

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by Citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File.

Your log file is full of unmapped read write spam. This can have a couple of causes:

  • Your Citra’s region is different from your game’s region (you can change Citra’s region in the settings)
  • You’re using bad cheat codes (Not applicable here as I didn’t see any active cheat codes)
  • You’re using corrupted files (ROM, update file, DLC, mod, ect.) In which case you’ll need to uninstall them one by one until you find which one is corrupted.
    Your log file says you don’t have an update file, mod or DLC installed so I’m going to assume that if the region isn’t the problem, the ROM is. In which case you’ll need to redump your game.

Make sure your GM9 is up to date and that you have enough free storage space available on your SD-Card to perform the dump.
