Whenever I try to open the file to play tomodachi life, a message mentioning “A Fatal Error has occurred”. This is my first time using Citra and I’m not very good with it, seeing how i literally used a youtube video to get to this point. Any help would be greatly apreciated!
- Operating System: Windows 10
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 1500x
- GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB
- Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly
- Game: Tomodachi Life

In order to save a copy of the log, follow this guide:
Try running citra as admin. also change ‘Region’ on Emulation > Configure > General > General to your game region (e.g: USA, EUR, JPN), also try ‘Auto-Select’ if your game region fails.
Your log shows that citra fails to load your game update, if the above doesn’t work, right click on your game on citra’s game list (for your game to appear on citra’s game list double-click on citra’s UI and add your game folder) and select ‘Open Update Data Location’ and move/remove the contents of it.
Thank you for your help! I greatly appreciate it. However, when I try to Open Update Data Location, It says that the folder doesn’t exist. Also, do you know where I can find a US version instead of an EU version?

No, that folder is a update that you installed, likely corrupted because citra couldn’t load it. Try redumping your ROM, follow the appropriate guide:

I can’t since I don’t have a 3ds.
