Tomodachi Life not responding

Issue:
Tomodachi Life when, after downloading and loading shaders, will not work and just stops responding. I have tried many times to do it, but none make any difference. One key piece of info, however, is that I had settings that made me go at 5 fps and 2% speed, but I followed a tutorial that had me turn off Vsync, and when I opened TL again, it went 49 fps, 50% game speed, but it lagged out. I don’t think my computer can handle it? If so, how can I maximize my game settings?

What’s happening:
Launching Tomodachi Life.
Downloading Shaders.
Loading Shaders.
Pitch Black Screen.
Try to exit.
System Message comes up.
Click on Close the Program

Through all this, my game speed has changed from about 0, to about 60?
same for my fps; 0 to 49

Did you download somebody else’s shader cache off of the internet?

No, I didn’t. Or, at least, I don’t remember doing anything of the kind.

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.

Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then rename the nand folder here to nand edit. Now restart Citra nad try your game again.

Thanks, it worked.
I have just noticed that it reset all my game settings in Configure, though. Although I think this is supposed to happen, my game’s audio lags and the graphics are slow. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
