Transfering saves

Issue:
Transferred the sstates contents from old citra nightly (1623) on my crashed hardrive to new Citra nightly (1659) on my new ssd on laptop, this is the error i get array size too short, well if sstates wont work, atleast give me a method to import the game saves from the location :“D:\Users(username)\AppData\Roaming\Citra\sdmc\Nintendo 3DS\00000000000000000000000000000000\00000000000000000000000000000000\title\00040000” to the current citra in my pc, there seem to be main file and meta data file in that , how to transfer to latest citra, i tried copy pasting it in same directory of save data location in new citra however game shows New Game option, same issues for pokemon game saves transfer, Please Help and Guide me
