Trouble with my save

Issue:

Hi, I was playing Pokémon X a few hours ago, and saved my game. When I came back to load it again, I saved the opening title (where you choose the language) by mistake and am now stuck with it instead of my past save. Is there a way to get back to what I was doing in game before? Or is my save completely lost?

If you only had a save state and you overwrote it then no.

Didn’t you save in-game? Save states are not stable so be careful when using them; you can use them to get past RNG stuff but don’t rely on them for long term saving.
