Trying to play Shin Megami Tensei IV, i got a black screen instead

The game actually starts, but it’s just a black screen a music, no video. Since i started playing i had this issue sometimes, but just restarting the PC or something like this would fix. I’m almost 8 hours of game now(played most of it in Canary 1928), i’ve played a bunch, but now even restarting won’t fix. What can i do?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

i can’t disable the cheats, the game is crashed while in the black screen

Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then open up the cheats folder. Delete the 00040000000E5C00.txt file found here. Now try your game again.
