Ultra sun is crashing after firing up the poke finder

Issue:
everything before the first part of the game where you need to use the pokefinder it runs smoothly but then when i reach the (unskippable) pokefinder introduction it just shows a black screen and the fps drops to 0

i used pkhex prior to this happening and i might have went a bit overboard on the items and pokemon i gave myself because my character disappeared and i couldnt move anywhere. i reset my game after that and redid the beginning of it since i hadnt gotten too far into the game and now i cant do anything but try again and again and hope that it wont show me a black screen for the 117th time.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from NVIDIA’s website. Official Drivers | NVIDIA
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Citra is encountering unmapped reads. Which usually means it encountered something corrupted. Are you using any sort of ROM hack or randomization? If so, try the base game instead and see if the issue persists.

If you aren’t using any of those things, your ROM is most likely corrupted. In which case you’ll need to redump your game. Please refer to our game dumping guides:

Dumping Game Cartridges
Dumping Installed Titles

Make sure your GM9 is up to date and that you have enough free storage space available on your SD-Card to perform the dump.
