Are you using Save States to load your save progress, or regular in-game save files?

Mostly save states. Sometimes I’ll use the in-game save files as well. For this case, neither seems to work.

Although to confirm, if I create a save state from an in-game save load, does it reload to become a save state load? If so, I can retry without saving, it’s just that this particular issue happens right after a totem battle and a bunch of cutscenes, so it takes a while.

I don’t know what you mean by this.

I asked my question mostly because Save States aren’t the most stable of things and I can see that you loaded one before the issue occured in the log file. Save states don’t just save the game progress at the time of saving, they also save the Citra app’s settings data at the time of saving. Meaning that if any instability occured in the app right before saving the Save State, upon loading said Save State, you’ll be loading up the instability as well (and the log won’t catch that).

Thanks, your suggestion of playing it through from a game save worked.
