Unable to connect to public rooms

Issue:
Unable to connect to any room of any game in the browse public rooms option.
This started to happen today.
I opened my white 2 sav file on pkhex to transfer to my pokemon x
found out that they are marked as illegal because of geolocation
found fix that was switching region to USA
I did
now this error started to show up
even after i reset the settings to default it didnt help
tried resetting dns
tried reinstalling this citra
none helping
Please help me i wanna trade my pokemon back to my friend :(((

You have to make sure that your connection settings are correct

I’ve connected to the very same room. This appears to be an issue from your end. Do you have any third party anti virus program installed? If so, it might be over-zealously stopping Citra from connecting to the rooms.
